I have lived in several different saturation systems. Here is two examples. The first one is a modern system with the diving bell on the surface. One of these chambers will hold 6 divers. The system will hold 18 divers in total. Today the industry is regulated. In the British sector of the North Sea one is allowed a maximum stay of 28 days in one of these systems. In the Norwegian sector it is 18 days. I have done a total of over 2500 days inside these things. That should entitle me to a stiff drink, but all I got was a swift kick in the ass.
